About

Holly Kate Francis

Agency-Trained Freelance Copywriter & Marketing Manager with a passion for biohacking, psychology, health and wellness.

Background

Following a life-changing medical condition that left me bed-bound for a year, I experienced a shift in my values and decided to align my work with my ethos. I became increasingly interested in the change in consumer behaviour as a result of the world’s recent events, with consumers actively searching for meaning and purpose and making decisions based on personal growth and development, gravitating towards goods and services which elevate their sense of self.

Having seen an increasing number of heart-centred brands and businesses face a cluttered and competitive online landscape filled with shorter attention spans and distracted minds, I decided to move into the freelance world to focus my efforts on helping them to cut through the noise and build authentic and deep connections with their audience.

Experience

A first-class honours degree in Marketing combined with years of working in the industry provides me with a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience. Over the years, I was fortunate to work at award-winning creative agencies, like Otherway and Eleven Miles, on projects for clients in an array of industries, from cold-pressed juice brand MOJU to British heritage brand Barbour. A particular highlight in the latter part of my agency career was leading paid social for the quintessentially British lighting brand Anglepoise.

Working in an array of marketing disciplines offers me a multifaceted skillset across areas such as Copywriting, Organic Social, Paid Media, Influencer Marketing, and PPC.

Interests

My condition triggered a deep interest in natural, holistic and alternative approaches – from medicine to childcare – and so over the years I have researched heavily into everything from psychology to biohacking and nutrition (even studying the holistic and child-led education method Montessori at one point).

I deem myself fortunate to be working on projects that allow me to weave in this knowledge and experience, and would love to continue to expand my client-base in these industries. My main priority, however, is to continue to work with brands and businesses that are centred around conscious impact, positivity and sustainability, and that aim to enhance consumers’ lives.

I work with brands in an eclectic mix of industries, from wellness to lighting, but all with a collective purpose of making an ethical difference.
